20 Free Blog Hosts That Allow You to Run Adsense

These aren’t ranked in any particular order, and this is not a review of quality or reliability. I know only that they are up and running, and that you can run Adsense ads on blogs they host.

1. eBloggy
“eBloggy offers free blog hosting together with tools like blog templates, group blogs and more! With eBloggy, you can update and publish your free blog quickly and easily! Make eBloggy your free blog host today!”

2. OutBlogger.com

There are some decent templates even if they are not particularly
original, but they do allow you to play with the code and add stuff if
you want.
They run their own Adsense ads in the footer of your site.

3. tBlog: Free Blog Templates! Blog Hosting!
Three-year-old tBlog, is a content-based community site built around themed blogs. The company was born as the result of a happy accident.

4. Blogger
Free, customizable, and you can run pretty much any dhtml script that doesn’t require you to host a javascript file. Still (by far) the best free blog-host available.

5. Blogdrive.com
Limited selection of templates, but you get to come up with your own, and run your scripts, so that’s a good thing.

6. blogHi!
In addition to being able to run your own ads, it’s all pretty simple to set up.

7. Blogono.com
Ok, so it’s packed with the hosts own Adsense ads, but they still allow you to run your own. Note, though that you will have to have a lot of content to offset the mass of Adsense blocks.

8. BlogBeee.com
Nothing special here in the way of templates except, of course, that you can run your own things on your blog. They don’t seem to run any ads of their own.

9. Netcipia
It’s a wiki with a blog attached. Kind of a bit much stuff for your average blog, it loads slower than everything else in this post, but still, you can can add ads, and modify parts of the page.

10. blogYx.com

Possibly the quickest and easiest signup ever! No email confirmation links or anything. Anyway, you get to edit the template code and ad your own including, of course, Adsense ads.

11. www.blogr.com

Different from all the rest here in how it’s set up. It has Ajax stuff, which I guess means that is cool with the youth of today. Pretty easy to do.

12. BlogsPoint
Simple to set up, and even simpler to edit.

13. ShoutPost
Another odd one, you get to edit a column, not the whole thing, but you also get to run your ads.

14. Freeflux.net
This is more than just a blog, it’s a CMS! Anyway, it’s not like the others so it might take a little bit of figuring out if all you are used to is WordPress.

15. Bloglegion.com
Very basic, nothing particularly new or original, but it’s got what you need: you can update the template code easily to run ads!

16. Newblog
Another candidate for the quickest sign-up ever award. I have no idea how to configure the code using their template editor, as it is, but, I do know that if you insert Sdense code, it works.

17. BlogText
If I were ranking these pages, this one would probably up near the top. Easy signup, and I you just insert your your “pub” number to get your Adsense up and running. The drawback is that you can run only Adsense ads in the template.

18. 20six.co.uk
Actually, I was a member here years and years ago in another life, and wasn’t that impressed, but it’s a little different now. You can insert your own code into the sidebar. They do run their own Adsense as well.

19. Free Blog Hosting
The default country in the country dropdown list is Malaysia, but apart from that it’s an average site that has the benefit or letting you play with the code and add your own.

20. i3log
They run a big banner ad at the top of your page, but such is their prerogative. Otherwise it’s ok, and it’s easy to edit the template code to put in whatever you like.
